Ashwagandha The Stress Reliever & Energiser

Ashwagandha is a Sanskrit word made of two words-Ashwa and Gandha. meaning the smell of a horse which refers to its strength and unique smell. It is one of the most ancient medicinal herbs used for many benefits. The botanical name of Ashwagandha is Withania Somnifera.

Ashwagandha plant is a little bush that contains yellow flower which is found in India and North Africa. The roots and berries of this plant and its extracts are mostly used for treatment.

Ashwagandha has high concentration of withanolides, which impart its health benefits.

It is also known by various other names such as Indian ginseng, winter cherry etc. It is well known for its adaptogen feature, that can help to manage the stress related to mind and body.
